Doug Barrow

Doug has significant marine expertise gained in the commercial maritime and bunker industries. Initially serving as a deck officer in the British merchant navy, he has worked in the marine fuels industry for over 30 years in the UK and overseas. As such he is ideally placed to advise on the operational and commercial aspects of bunkering, being the founder Chairman of the International Bunker Industry Association in 1993. Since 2006 he has been running his own marine consultancy company, Crusader Marine Ltd and in addition he serves as the Chief Executive of Maritime London. His network of contacts throughout the world is an asset to MOST, helping us to market our products and services globally. In 2007 he was elected to the Court of Common Council of the Corporation of the City of London.
