David Maclean FIMarEST, MRINA, CEng

David is a professional Marine Engineer with significant operating experience at the Chief Engineer level. As a Royal Naval engineer officer he was a highly successful Programme Director of complex shipbuilding projects, delivering completed vessels into service within budget and to programme. He worked within the BMT Group Ltd for 4 years from 2004, finally as Head of Defence in 2006 with responsibility for all defence activities in the UK, the Americas and Asia Pacific. In 2008 he became an independent consultant specialising in the marine technology sector, setting up Marine One Stop Technologies Ltd with James Fanshawe later that year.
